The article is written completely without any citation. Does not qualify as a NPOV article because of extra ordinary claims that are not backed with RS. Needs to rewritten to meed wikipedia standards. I have also taken off the terrorism tags from the page. How can it go under terrorism when they are indeed a registered in international countries ? It is true that TRO has been registered in international countries but the TRO officers in various countries including France are being shutdown for being used as fronts to generate revenue for a terrorist organization. The fact that an organization is registered does not mean that it is not linked to terrorism. TRO officials in many countries have been recently arrested for helping fund terrorism in Sri Lanka.Thinkweek 05:35, 7 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Yes, not only that their accounts have been seized by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka for investigations and in January, 2007 Sri Lankan Special Task Force commandos while in Operation Definite Victory were able to find logical assets which donated to the LTTE by the TRO. --♪♫ ĽąĦĩŘǔ ♫♪ walkie-talkie 07:35, 7 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

The United States also froze the assets of TRO in November 2007 on charges that it was a front to facilitate fund-raising and procurement for the LTTE. The US state department order prohibits U.S. citizens from transacting with it. In the words of the US Treasury, the “TRO passed off its operations as charitable, when in fact it was raising money for a designated terrorist group responsible for heinous acts’’. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Thalgas (talkcontribs) 07:07, 12 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Very Sensitivity Detail without Citation edit

I removed the following content since it’s not supported by citation.Lustead (talk) 11:28, 1 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

The Financial Investigation Unit of the Criminal Investigation Department and the Central Bank Financial Investigation Unit which monitor the financial transactions noted the TRO is receiving millions from outside that is being sent to the LTTE in Wanni and LTTE International Procurement cadres to buy weapons, sophisticated communication equipment and other technology for the LTTE. The government quickly sealed off TRO offices in Sri Lanka and froze nearly Rs 72 million but the TRO managed to siphon off most of their funds prior to the freezing. The CID also sent the information through the INTERPOL.[1]

It appears that the source was removed and replaced with a citation needed tag. -UtoD 15:16, 26 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
