Do they give out "worst boxart of the year" awards in gaming? Yeesh. Not only should that be free-use; they should pay us to use it. Tezero (talk) 22:47, 23 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

  • Is GameKult a reliable source?
  • What about Geimen?
    • It's a video game sales tracker that's used by Famitsu, Gematsu and other sites for Japanese games sales. I've seen it accepted in GAs and FAs, so I thought it would be alright here. --ProtoDrake (talk) 23:06, 23 December 2014 (UTC)Reply
  • And Game Watch? This one's relied on a fair bit.
    • I've done a little research and correction. The site's actual name is Impress Watch, an official video game website that contains interviews and such. And it's the only site that covered Rebirth with any enthusiasm. I've seen it used in other GAs, I think. --ProtoDrake (talk) 23:06, 23 December 2014 (UTC)Reply
  • For citation 35, just switch "バンダイナムコゲームス" to "Bandai Namco Games" or "BandaiNamcoGames.jp" or something.
  • File:ToRss.jpg needs to be reduced to ≤100,000 total pixels
  • I don't think the "characteristic genre name" is broad enough information for the lead
  • "cooking it enough times allows a character to master a recipe, and cooking it after mastering yields experience points" - pick "they" or "it" as the accusative pronoun here
  • "Side conversations between characters called Skits (called "Screen Chat" (スクリーンチャット Sukurīn Chatto?) in Japanese), which feature both story-relevant information and added details not essential to the story." - this sentence contains no verb outside the relative clause; you can probably just remove the ", which"
  • "real-time 3D backgrounds" - ???
  • "direct commands and combos rather than a turn-based model" - what do you mean "direct"? Is this like the Active Time Battle system from Final Fantasy IV through IX?
    • Done a little tidying. Hope it's clearer. --ProtoDrake (talk) 23:06, 23 December 2014 (UTC)Reply
  • "Technical Points from previous Tales games, which were used to activate special abilities, are replaced by the Force Gauge, an energy meter which determines how long special skills can be active" - I don't understand; these two features sound unrelated. Also, by "how long special skills can be active", do you mean that these skills end after a short time, or the character actually loses the ability to use them until the gauge is replenished?

Be back for the rest later. Tezero (talk) 22:47, 23 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

  • I must say, there were a few noticeably awkward and even ungrammatical turns of phrase in this article before I edited them out; did you rush through this one or something?
  • "A battle area was added in the PSP version of the game, in which players need to defeat an enemy team within a time limit" - How does this mode tie into the game? Is it an optional minigame like the Battle Frontier/Battle Tower/Colosseum in Pokémon games, a multiplayer mode, or a gameplay style actually intertwined with the main campaign?
  • It's not linked anywhere, so what do you mean by a "brawler"? Is it DMC/No More Heroes-style hack-and-slash/beat-'em-up, standard fighting, or just real-time action-RPG fighting as in Kingdom Hearts or maybe The World Ends with You?
  • Is the plural of "Gajuma" "Gajuma" or "Gajumas"? Just pick one and stick with it.
  • Minor question: does the Force Gauge start out filled?
  • "If the recipe is cooked enough times, a character masters it, which yields experience points" - only at the moment of mastery, or whenever the cooking technique is used from then on?
    • @Tezero:, all sorted, I think. And I did do this rather quickly. I had other things on my mind at the time. I'm grateful that you picked them up for me. --ProtoDrake (talk) 23:06, 24 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

That should be fine for GA. Ping me when addressed. Tezero (talk) 21:57, 24 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

Sorry about the wait! I was kept away by Christmas festivities... and fanfiction. I'll go through the GA rituals now. Tezero (talk) 01:44, 26 December 2014 (UTC)Reply
