Why does 3V redirect here (Also linked to at the bottom of the "v" page) if there's no mention of 3V in the article?

TNT edit

Anybody know what TNT stands for? I'm guessing it's something Dutch.--Santahul (talk) 05:32, 3 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thomas Nationwide Transport. It started in Australia. -- Zsero (talk) 18:02, 19 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Actually this is one thing I find quite deficient about the articles on TNT - very little is discussed of its Australian operations/history before it was acquired/merged and the HQ moved to the Netherlands. From an Australian perspective this is a significant oversight 58.7.101.254 (talk) 13:11, 25 February 2014 (UTC)AndrewMReply

Global delivery mechanism edit

Is it possible to mail a package from TNT to a country other than the 8 European ones they deliver to directly? I seem to remember seeing their logo on packages delivered in the U.S. by a different carrier. -- Beland (talk) 04:39, 2 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

TNT shipping scam edit

TNT seems to be mentioned by some scammers, who propose using it as an escrow service (which it is not) - maybe put something about that in the article? --Badger151 (talk) 22:24, 28 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

2007 UK child benefit data scandal edit

is this section needed - due to the fact that it does not consern at all TNT on a global level and is on on hand only related to a division and than in UK —Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.248.110.224 (talk) 19:49, 10 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

No, I do not think it is. Because 1. the mail was unregistered. 2. it is normal to have any postal company to lose a small fraction of unregistered mail. 3. as the summary stated, the mail may not even have been sent via tnt. Andries (talk) 08:19, 5 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Merger proposal edit

I propose that Koninklijke TNT Post be merged into TNT N.V.. I think that the content in the Koninklijke TNT Post article can easily be explained in the context of TNT N.V., and the TNT N.V. article is of a reasonable size that the merging of Koninklijke TNT Post will not cause any problems as far as article size or undue weight is concerned. comment I think it's more clear for the readers. Now there are different articles about the same TNT company: TNT Express, TNT N.V., Koninklijke TNT Post. See for example the Dutch article, wich is more clear: nl:TNT N.V. Sander.v.Ginkel (talk) 10:50, 29 July 2014 (UTC)Reply
