Light-engine doesn't count. Engines only exist to pull trains, so the engine has to be pulling at least a three-coach train, like the British HST in 1987, which holds the actual record for diesel traction at 148mph. Khamba Tendal (talk) 17:35, 25 August 2016 (UTC)
