Untitled edit

I specified the area affected by the flood, added specifics on the amount of water dispersed, as well as giving a more in-depth description of what caused this flood. Cball1124 (talk) 23:21, 15 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

Proposal to rename article edit

I propose to rename and expand upon this article, and would welcome comments before I do so.
As the subject of this story (the glacier) does not yet have a page of its own, I propose to create a page using the anglicised version of its name i.e. 'Tête Rousse Glacier' (not Glacier de Tête Rousse), and to move and expand the Mont Blanc glacier flood article as a sub-heading within that article. It is clear to me that the ongoing and very current concerns over the build-up of water in this glacier in 2010 and 2012 make the glacier a significant subject in its own right, and the 1892 flood should be seen as an important element of its story, not the story itself.
As a relatively new editor, what I am uncertain of is the best way forward. Should I rename the article and then expand it, or should I create a completely new page and copy over the MBgf text? Advice on this is welcome, and is always a good way to learn. You can see my approach I'm taking to working on this article in my Sandbox Parkywiki (talk) 00:41, 19 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
