Internet use and slang? edit

As far as I know, the term swoon has been around for a long time, and it's not used especially of the internet, compared to in face-to-face conversation. Also, according to bitchonary.com, swoon is not slang and has been traced etymologically.

I rarely, if ever, hear anyone utter the word "swoon", but it is used on girlie girl blogs and forums ad nauseum as a replacement for "I love it". See the world of Etsy. 164.106.16.163 (talk) 12:46, 26 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
