Hmmm edit

10-7-2007 -- Its interesting how the wikipedia entry tip-toes around the fact half the women in the band are lesbians. Come on, people. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.170.137.131 (talkcontribs) 03:33, 7 October 2007 63.117.234.100 (talk) 21:46, 1 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

It does matter! If you do have a reliable reference to prove any one of the women is a lesbian, it may have a relationship as to why she would choose to sing in an all-women's band, because they sing music related to their heritage and life experiences. Thus, it would have an impact on what songs they choose, and why. And we do have a GLBT task group here in Wikipedia. --Leahtwosaints (talk) 19:26, 29 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Soundtrack work edit

Should the soundtrack for the TNT movie "Freedom Song" be included in this list? They provided much of the music for said soundtrack. Orville Eastland (talk) 22:24, 20 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Request for comment: new WikiProject for a cappella-related articles edit

Hi there! To any and all interested: I've proposed a WikiProject dedicated to a cappella. This would be a group of editors interested in improving the quality of articles related to a cappella. If you're passionate about a cappella—ranging from new groups like the Pentatonix to pioneers like Sweet Honey in the Rock, or perhaps pop culture representations like Pitch Perfect and The Sing-Off—please check out the proposal and share your thoughts!

Here's a link to the proposal for WikiProject A Cappella.

If you could see yourself contributing to an article related to a cappella (like this one), please consider joining!
