The map of the South African franchise areas has a few problems. Some franchise are listed as the main unions name. The Blue Bulls should be the Bulls, the Golden Lions should be the Lions, and the Natal Sharks should be the Sharks. Can someone please fix that. Crazydude22 (talk) 18:35, 18 March 2010 (UTC)

Teams' first season dates edit
The Reds and Waratahs seem to have dates to do with their first ever matches. The SA teams seem to have a mix of franchise and union dates. The SA situation is a bit complex as for the first few years of the Super 12 Currie Cup unions player in the tournement, before the franchises were created. Can we get some sort of debate about how the dates should work? Also, I don't think that Super 10 wins should be included. The Super Rugby article and most sources state that Super Rugby includes the Super 12, 14 and the new comp called simply Super Rugby. There is also a Super 10 page with details on the comps winners. - the dates that correspond with the waratahs and reds I put there because they have been a continual entity, even during transition to proffesionalism. I was confused when i had to put the south african dates in, but from what i understand, they like to think of themselves as seperate entities with a history in the provincial unions. Also, the provincial unions that competed previously are still in existence, therefore I was happy with treating them as new entities. The super 10 wins are put there for a historical purpose, and as you will be able to see, do not count as wins (hence the brackets).

- I made it clearer for the Waratahs and Reds that they only enter Super Rugby in 96. I added some text to explain how SA used to enter teams. I also added the Golden Lions Super 10 win. Hopefully that clears up all problems. Crazydude22 (talk) 13:22, 11 December 2010 (UTC)
