Suifenhe CitySuifenhe — Per pinyin rules, "Suifenhe" is the city. "Suifen He" is the river. --    HXL's Roundtable, and Record 00:16, 9 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

  • Oppose pinyin is not English. And I'm sure some people will spell both as Sui Fen He instead. 65.94.71.179 (talk) 23:12, 10 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
    • Nonsense. Then "Beijing" is not considered to be acceptable usage in English. Pinyin is but a romanisation tool. --    HXL's Roundtable, and Record 23:28, 10 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
      • Some people might spell it "Sway Fun Hur", too, but Wikipedia uses pinyin (see WP:NC-CHINA) which, coincidentally is the official romanisation of China. — AjaxSmack 07:15, 16 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
  • Support We do not include "City" in the names of Chinese cities per our naming conventions. Skinsmoke (talk) 01:52, 12 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
