Stephanie Douglas' first appearance was on the first episode, march 23, 1987. It saids on the website that she has been there since the show premiered.

This article is not in the appropriate tone for an encyclopedia. I think a lot of this can be summarized more concisely than what is here...also, all the !!! exclamation marks !!! need to go. Please do not remove the tag on the page until it is complete and more like an encyclopedia article, not a fancyclopedia article. Read the Wikipedia:Manual of Style to help you in your endeavour. Stephanie Forrester (she has never been known as Stephanie Douglas during the course of the show, not even during the periods when she isn't married to Eric) made her first appearance in the second episode, while the other members of the Core Four appeared in the first episode.
