Route details edit

What was the upper limit of this stretch of navigation? I'm curious as to if there's another stretch between this one and where the Arrow Lakes run began, at Northport/Marcus/Kettle Falls. Is there another stretch of the Columbia yet to be covered for steamship service, in other words?Skookum1 (talk) 17:10, 7 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Looking into the various rapids of the river recently, I think it is safe to say that the upper limit of the Wenatchee Reach was the Foster Creek Rapids at Bridgeport, Washington. Upstream of Bridgeport the river was chock full of nasty rapids, up to Kettle Falls. So, to answer the question, no, there was no other stretch of steamship service between the Wenatchee Reach and the Arrow Lakes. Pfly (talk) 07:18, 9 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

This page's reference section seems to lack full citations, giving only author/title and page. Not a lot to go on...can it be expanded? Pfly (talk) 07:18, 9 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Yes, this was a spin off from Steamboats of the Columbia River. The full cites can be found there and should be brought into this one.Mtsmallwood (talk) 14:18, 9 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
