Talk:Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club

Untitled edit

I am a teacher here in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, at The Lowell Whiteman School. We arrived at this due to several reasons. Mainly, Wikipedia has been in the news lately and we have students complete biweekly articles on Current Technology News. In that process we noted that while the city of Steamboat Springs has an Article in Wiki, several key organizations do not, such as The Lowell Whiteman School and The Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club, or SSWSC. LWS deserves an Article as much as any of the schools that have articles and 3 of my students are working at it right now. We have no comments questioning LWS for worthiness, but we keep getting flack for formatting reasons and note that other schools whom we modelled our Article after do not - so we are a tad comfused but are furiously investigating things as best as the site allows....as well as some Googling. But SSWSC deserves a spot. It is one of the oldest organizations of its kind and has produced over 50 Winter Olympians and is integral to the town and the sport of skiing. It may not yet appear in the town Article but it should. It is referenced in several Biographies as a dead end - I will research those and indicate them shortly. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 204.10.252.13 (talkcontribs) 19 March 2007 (UTC)
