Requested move

I inadvertantly moved Staveley with Ings to Staveley, South Lakeland on the grounds that there is no civil parish of Staveley with Ings, and the article is actually about the village of Staveley. However, per Wikipedia UK Policy on naming articles, the correct name should be Staveley, Cumbria (that is Village, Ceremonial County, not Village, District). The page had earlier been incorrectly moved from Staveley, Cumbria to Staveley with Ings. Skinsmoke (talk) 00:00, 2 April 2009 (UTC)

The three civil parishes share a joint parish council, which is known as Staveley with Ings Parish Council. You need to be careful when looking at lists of parish councils, as this is quite a common problem, and leads to a lot of confusion. You will often also find that those parishes which only have a parish meeting are not listed. It is always best to check them against Census 2001, Ordnance Survey and Office for National Statistics. You will notice that in the parish profiles at South Lakeland Parish Profiles, accessed from the site you quote, the three parishes are listed separately. Skinsmoke (talk) 08:39, 7 April 2009 (UTC)

Bypass
