Statehood for the dependencies? edit
I was told recently that the Venezuelan Government had recently conferred statehood on the insular areas previously making up the federal dependency? Can someone (perhaps a Spanish speaker) verify if this is true? If so, this article as well as the one on the islands and related articles should be updated. Proposal for merger edit
- Ranked list of Venezuelan states → merge into States of Venezuela
The ranklist article consists entirely of just four tables, two of which (population and area) are essentially duplicated at States of Venezuela § States. The others (population density and HDI) can easily be added to the main table in the primary article (this one). A separate article just for these ranklists is unnecessary.
