The Perse School

Well, the Perse School is listed on the page, with the claim that the “proof” is books of the cartoons in the archive; that the original was in “Edinburgh” is said to be merely a “claim”. Surely firmer evidence is required for either, and both could be listed as hypotheses? Or it could be admitted that the fictional school is a composite of several establishments?Jock123 (talk) 22:13, 3 January 2012 (UTC)

Contradiction

According to the Wikipedia Article on St Ninian, it states that Ninian is known as Trynnian in Northern England, thus therefore likely that difference in spelling (Trynnian / Trinean) is due to ancient variation Robsinden (talk) 15:16, 7 July 2009 (UTC)

It is based on the school in Edinburgh Scotland. I've based this on 2 sources - the first is the primary source, a former head girl and the second is a secondary source the Gazetteer for Scotland. I've removed the reference for St Ninian's but this could be put back in context of the real St Trinnean's if necessary. Balclutha (talk) 12:37, 9 September 2009 (UTC)

Does anyone have any information about the Saint Trinnean's School in Argentina?[1] Is there any connection with the Edinburgh 1922-1946 school?

2007 Film cast listing

I added Gemma Arterton and Talulah Riley (who both appear in almost every scene of the movie) to the cast list and removed Mischa Barton and Girls Aloud (who only have cameo roles at best). Gunstar hero (talk) 17:22, 21 May 2008 (UTC)

Navigation

In researching Talk:St Trinian's (film)#Requested move I found it difficult to find all the existing articles that are in some way about this fictional school. There needs to be some navigation device to make this easier. I've started a see also section but I'm not at all sure that's the answer.

Perhaps a Category:St Trinian's School? It would be a subcategory of Category:Fictional schools and would in turn have the existing Category:St Trinian's films as a subcategory.

If so is that the best spelling... the move suggested putting a "." into the title, it's sometimes there sometimes not, and the other question is the apostrophe. Or should it just be Category:St Trinian's or some variant thereof? Andrewa (talk) 13:07, 18 February 2011 (UTC)
