References needed edit

While there is nothing particularly controversial in this article, it needs references to document the historical information about the church. As usual, they should be from publications independent of St. Paul Church. (See WP:Verifiability) .-- Chonak (talk) 01:38, 19 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Unsuitable name change edit

A good-faith page rename on 4 June 2014 has this description in the history:

  • Cor anglais 16 moved page St. Paul Church (Cambridge, Massachusetts) to The Church of St. Paul (Harvard Square): The Church of St. Paul | Harvard Square is tightening up its branding--we want all information pertaining to us on the Internet to...

Wikipedia articles are not part of an institution's marketing materials (see: WP:NOT), so the reason stated above is not a suitable ground for changing the name of an article. As the explanation of article naming, available at WP:Article titles, states:

  • Wikipedia does not necessarily use the subject's "official" name as an article title; it prefers to use the name that is most frequently used to refer to the subject in English-language reliable sources.

If any persons affiliated with St. Paul Church have been editing this article, they should follow the conflict of interest guidance available at WP:COI. Bistropha (talk) 05:09, 22 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

List of pastors? edit

Maybe it's just me, but I'm thinking the history of pastors of the church is at least as important as the history of music directors. JKeck (talk) 17:01, 24 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
