Talk:St. Charles Streetcar Line

NO&C horsecar image edit

An image of a horsecar with inverted-V steps up its sides is displayed at the beginning of the History section of this article. This image is probably a fantasy of Bellew, to whom it is attributed. It is discussed by Louis Hennick, foremost living authority on New Orleans streetcars, in his "Appendix III" to his and Harper Charlton's Streetcars of New Orleans. Appendix III is published online at http://friedman.cs.illinois.edu/app3/App3.htm; the discussion of this picture is on page c2.

I would very much like to replace this picture with an authentic one. Such pictures are hard to find. Does anyone know of a picture of a New Orleans & Carrollton horsecar that can be used here?

If none can be found, I propose to simply delete this one. HGFriedman (talk) 17:14, 4 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

No comments, so I am going to proceed. Since I have no replacement image, I will simply delete the erroneous one. HGFriedman (talk) 21:32, 14 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

Wheelchair access to St. Charles car line edit

Doggone it, there are now THREE separate paragraphs re. wheelchair access to the St. Charles car line. I don't have time today to work on synthesizing these into a coherent whole, but I'm putting that task on my job list. HGFriedman (talk) 21:44, 20 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Done. I kept everything, rearranged, except for details of the lawsuit. (I don't think the name of the law firm is particularly relevant to the discussion.) HGFriedman (talk) 16:00, 22 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
