"Serier" dilemma edit

A bit in doubt how best to translate the quite central word "serier". The slightly informal tone of Sproing's beste serier could go with "strips" (as I think it is now unless I didn't catch myself changing it) but "series" could work I suppose, but no.. "Cartoon" would just be wrong, as would "comic strip", "comic book", and "comics" doesn't fit. Any ideas? MURGH disc. 23:31, 14 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

I don't understand what's wrong with comic(s)? 惑乱 分からん * \)/ (\ (< \) (2 /) /)/ * (talk) 22:12, 9 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
Comic implies a stand-up comedian or the British term for a magazine assembling several comic strips, both fairly imprecise. As I described above, the normal term "tegneserier" (comic strips) has been reduced to the informal word "serier" (ie 'strips), therefore I used that. MURGH disc. 22:47, 9 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
Apparently, not according to the bokmål article, which uses "tegneserier". 惑乱 分からん * \)/ (\ (< \) (2 /) /)/ * (talk) 11:19, 10 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
