Phrasing not encyclopedic edit

The history section of this paged is not phrased in an encyclopedic way.

The history section simply states much the same information as the "Location and Dates" infobox below it, such as dates, themes, and locations. This is unnecessary and redundant.

While it may be of note that SpoCon changed from a convention committee style of leadership to a business model, phrasing such as "creating a more efficient, forward-thinking and productive organization" appears to be inserted as a defense or promotion of the new structure, rather than reporting facts. It would help to cite the source for this information as well. Wikipedia:Verifiability — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.253.216.70 (talk) 19:37, 26 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
