1983 Formula 2 racing edit

Do we factually know Team Spirit raced in Formula 2 in 1983? Or was it a straight jump to F1 in 1983, with Honda's backing?

1983 European Formula Two season (which is consistent with this webpage) makes no mention of Team Spirit competing in Formula 2 in 1983 (just a Spirit-BMW run by Emco Sports for Jo Gartner), so my guess is that the team only competed in F1 in 1983. DH85868993 (talk) 14:30, 12 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
