Globalize request

This article was recently tagged as U.S.-centric. I'm not sure why - it discusses several spermicides not available in the U.S. - neem is only available in India, menfegol in Europe, BZK in Canada and France. I believe the list is comprehensive. The description of octoxynyl-9 only mentions the U.S. - because it was only ever available in the U.S., and is now not available anywhere. Saturated sugar solution as spermicide - does it work?

Intro

"Spermicides are unscented, clear, unflavored, non-staining, and lubricative."

Distinguish spermicide (alone) versus spermicide in conjunction with barrier methods

The pregnancy rate for this contraceptive may leave a lot of readers confused unless it's distinguished in which capacity the spermicide is being used. While it's available in tablet, gel, or film form, most people encounter N9 as a condom lubricant. It would be good to know the relative performance of spermicide alone versus no contraception and spermicide combined with barrier method relative to only barrier and no contraception. Contragel Green?

Hello, I'm wondering if the lack of mention of Contragel Green, a non-nonoxinol-9 spermicide that is approved for use in the EU and Canada, is an indication that it's total crap. ;) Does anyone know anything more about this product or should I go ahead and add a bit?
