This article was brought to GA status way back in 2010, and since then many of the site's standards and guidelines have changed. After providing some minor cleanup and attempts to fix some of my issues with it, there's still just too many for me to handle and I do not think it meets the GA criteria, or is even a B-class page. There are three main issues I have:

  1. There's a lot of statements in the article that are missing citations. Stuff like who did the music, certain gameplay mechanics, etc. are missing proper sources.
  2. The development section has no actual information on the game's production. A brief description of the arcade cabinet, which isn't even anything noteworthy/interesting to add to the article to begin with, is not development info. It also relies largely on primary sources.
  3. The reception, while not the worst I've seen, hasn't aged well. Review scores shouldn't be in the text first and foremost, and it relies too heavily on direct quotes at times. It's just not an interesting thing to read, and a lot of info here follows the "x said this, y said that" concept that is frowned upon in articles.

There's some other problems here too, such as its usage of questionable sources (which I've started removing), a lead that makes zero mention of critical reception, and references with inconsistent dates. Like a lot of GAs from that time period, I don't feel it meets the criteria anymore. Namcokid47 (Contribs) 01:03, 27 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

  • I don't think this article is getting help. GamerPro64 04:28, 10 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
    • Yeah, this has been open for a while and there's been nothing from it. Should I just close it? Namcokid47 (Contribs) 04:58, 10 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
      • I think it wouldn't be a controversial decision to close it now. GamerPro64 05:21, 10 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
