  • Comment: The etymology for "Carlvinson", a science fiction/comedy manga, being a congressman who was one of the most supportive campaigners for the American war effort during the second world war is such a wacky and interesting fact I couldn't pass this up (also the QPQ subject also being named Carl was a total cooincidence lol). Thank you so much in advance to the reviewer!

• Hello SL93! Thank you for taking the time to do this review, I thought someone had forgotten to do so, its been so long! I'm curious but are you aware on how to find the relevant MOS for character bios? I can't seem to find it, I'll remove the Bogleech source though, as per your request, it was specifically discussing the science fiction references in the manga. • Ornithoptera I don't know where to find it, but the character bios looks fine to me. I was wondering about the aircraft carrier bit because the article says "the title likely refers" to the aircraft. I can approve this once that is cleared up. SL93 (talk) 03:44, 11 March 2022 (UTC)

• The sources are in agreement its most likely named after the aircraft carrier, given the location that the aircraft carrier was during the manga's publication. There aren't many other "Carl Vinson"'s out there, so there is little doubt, there are other sources that mention the same thing. Ornithoptera (talk) 03:50, 11 March 2022 (UTC)

•  : Okay, per SL93's initial review, the article is new enough (created on February 19, 2022, nominated same day) and long enough (10,115 characters). WP:AGF on foreign language sources.
