Added FYI worthy trivia about why many of The Beatles' early records were released on Vee-Jay Records. Of course, you can add to it. Steelbeard1 12:00, 31 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

I've renamed the section (not the best name no doubt but the best I could think of at the time :) ) as what you added wasn't trivial at all I think. It's a very nice explanation f why this release was on a small label and didn't do well in the charts. Some citations would be nice. Another nice new article, thanks Steelbeard! --kingboyk 12:15, 31 March 2006 (UTC)Reply
Agreed. Very nice work. it's been nommed for DYK. I think DYK noms are a good thing, and placement even better, because they bring new eyes to the articles and some of those new eyes may join the project. I think we need to designate Steelbeard1 as our master of bringing obscure bits of record history to life! Well done. ++Lar: t/c 13:30, 31 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Added relevant link telling the story of The Beatles on Vee-Jay Records. I think we should included this on all articles of Beatle recordings issue on the Vee-Jay and Tollie labels. Steelbeard1 16:31, 31 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Or mabye just on the Vee-Jay article itself with see also links to that article from here even though its first use is linked... Some say we have to balance the need to give people info with the desire not to just link to everywhere. I have no opinion on this particular one, just sayin... ++Lar: t/c 16:22, 31 March 2006 (UTC)Reply
I only put the additional link on the Introducing... The Beatles LP. I wish we had an article on The Beatles on Vee-Jay Records because of the different ways Vee-Jay repackaged that LP before they lost the rights to The Beatles.
A Beatles on Vee-Jay records is a possibility, I don't see why not. It might even be better to cover all releases in one fabulous overview article. I don't have enough knowledge on this part of Beatledom to comment any further. --kingboyk 17:10, 31 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

What's going on here? Did I not save my edit or something? I don't see my edit nor anything in the history :~ Mozt bizarre. Oh well, all I did was move and rename "Trivia" so let's do it again. --kingboyk 17:13, 31 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Why the EP did not chart edit

So now we know why this EP did not chart because part of its sales were through mail order. The rules must have changed since then as many of today's hit CDs are sold that way through TV offers, not to mention Amazon. Steelbeard1 20:25, 3 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Would that include singles? EPs generally chart as singles don't they? Or do they chart as albums? :) --kingboyk 21:33, 3 April 2006 (UTC)Reply
