Doesn't exist edit

No real evidence that this neighbourhood exists as anything more than some people’s hopes. Some have colloquially called it this after the SouthCore project but that doesn’t a neighbourhood make. The city of Toronto does not recognize this as a neighbourhood see list. The references are incidental at best and none of them define this neighbourhood. Anyone have any real evidence it actually exists and isn’t Harbourfront/Waterfront Communities? Canterbury Tail talk 00:39, 26 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

Its not an official neighbourhood of Toronto. South Core is technically a part of the Harbourfront (along with Toronto Entertainment District and CityPlace, Toronto). That said, a quick Google search does bring up references to a "South Core" from publications like the Toronto Star and the Globe and Mail (honestly only made cursory glances at the first few links listed so I could be wrong in their content).
That said, I've been doing drive-by image additions for Toronto neighbourhood articles recently, and I've sort of noticed Toronto's neighbourhood articles is really just a mix of official neighbourhoods, conglomerations of neighbourhoods, Business Improvement Areas (e.g. Entertainment District), and unofficial neighbourhoods (e.g. CityPlace & South Core). Honestly, I think the whole neighbourhood thing needs a bit of a reworked, but assuming the status quo is maintained, than I don't really see the issue of maintaining the article (that is... if the South Core is a recognized thing at least in a unofficial capacity...).
