Predating Stoner/Doom scene? edit

I find this claim questionable as the two releases that are generally considered the start of stoner metal (Kyuss' Blues fot the Red Sun and Sleep's Holy Mountain) were both released in 1992, and both bands (and other important stoner/doom bands) were active before 1992, which is when the article claims Sons of Otis were formed. ~W35M4N —Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.48.44.98 (talk) 20:52, 15 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Removing former members edit

There have been several IPs that have semi-regularly removed two people, both of whom were drummers of this band, from the past members section of this article. These IPs have never left an explanation for the removal, even after several warnings. It doesn't happen enough to request that the page gets semi-protection, but it happens enough so that I become concerned. If someone wants to remove the info, WHICH INCLUDES A SOURCE, then a explanation needs to be stated either on this talk page or in the respective edit summary. If the information gets removed without supplied rationale, then I will continue to revert those edits until further notice. Removing that content from the page in such a manner is both gratuitously counterproductive and an inconvenience to the page, its revision history, and people such as myself who are watching the page. So, if there is a reason for removal, interested parties can state the reasoning here, and I will try to work with the individual(s) who want that info removed. If not, then don't even bother messing with the page in the first place, becuase I have much greater concerns than this type of repetive removal of content.
