Someone needs to clarify what is meant by an "un-swayze" attitude. The linked-to article does not adequately explain what is meant. Please use standard English terms. And why is there a link to the article on Don Knotts? 65.29.20.158 02:26, 25 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Source? edit

How do we know Soccer died? 24.158.134.254 11:50, 17 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

We don't. It's likely the dogs owner started the page because only the dog's owner would know the date of his pet's death. If anyone else wrote it without a direct link to the owner it's BS. Since it's not been edited out someone in the "know" knows the answer. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.169.224.102 (talk) 12:40, 16 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Picture?? edit

The picture of wishbone as robin hood doesn't fit the description of soccer. His left ear is just a smattering of dots rather than the clear paw print on the picture above it. Are we sure that that picture is of soccer?? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Caline (talkcontribs) 22:59, 7 January 2007 (UTC). i rock —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.75.140.128 (talk) 19:33, 9 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Ear Pattern -- Response to "Picture??" edit

Soccer's natural left ear pattern was just a smattering of dots. Early episodes of "Wishbone" had just his natural pattern there, but in later episodes they added brown makeup to make it look like a pawprint.

Fair use rationale for Image:Wishbone books.png edit

Image:Wishbone books.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Image copyright problem with Image:Wishbone Robin Hood.jpg edit

The image Image:Wishbone Robin Hood.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
  • That this article is linked to from the image description page.

This is an automated notice by FairuseBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. --06:17, 5 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Did Soccer really die on 9/11? edit

I think articles are saying he didn’t. 73.38.66.196 (talk) 03:29, 24 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Additional citations for verification edit

It's noted at the top of the page we need more sources, and I agree. The only reliable source I was able to find regarding Blencathra Badger's win at Crufts was from a facebook post by the owner. They included a news clipping with the correct date. Other less reliable sources on google also seemed to point to 1991, with 1990 being an error. For Wikipedia:Verifiability we do not usually include Facebook, but I believe this is a special case that falls under the WP:FACEBOOK guidelines, given it is a public post by the dog's owner that includes the news article. It would be nice if we could find an original link to the newspaper though. PartyParrot42 (talk) 20:03, 26 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
