Talk:Snout house

Latest comment: 12 years ago by 98.71.218.201 in topic Non equivalence

I believe this article sounds a bit too opinionated. The article should simply state what a snout house is, provide a history of snout houses and examples. This article uses descriptors such as "worst." I removed this descriptor. The writing also sounds too technical and is not encyclopedic, but rather sounds like something out of a quickly written item by an architect.

Pictures edit

Are these really the best possible photos? Not one of them shows the full front of a snout house, which would seem to be the best way to illustrate this particular architectural style. Two of the pictures don't even clearly show that they are of snout houses. Also, a screenshot from The Sims 2 isn't really an appropriate way to represent real-world architecture. OR edit

This entire article is POV OR. Probably should be deleted. 98.71.218.201 (talk) 22:58, 15 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Non equivalence edit

If you think this--

A snout house is a house that is constructed with an attached front entry garage that is closer to the street than any other part of the house.

means the same thing as this--

A snout house is a house with a protruding garage that takes up most of the street frontage,

then maybe your user page needs to display this:
