Irish origins of alice response

Hi, I am interested by the line on this page where you say:

The band had noticed that, whilst touring in Ireland, whenever they sang the main line "For 24 years/I've been living next door to Alice" the audience would shout "Who the fuck is Alice?".

I am writing about Irish audiences, and would like to be able to quote your statement. For this reason, I am interested to know what your source was for the assertion that this phenomenon started in Ireland. Did this come directly from a band member? or from someone closely connected with them? Or did you find a written source which said this?

Fancruft

Somebody tagged the article with {{Fansite}} template, but didn't give any reason. I don't see any explanation on what is Fancruft in the article, so I removed the template. Vanjagenije (talk) 16:34, 17 June 2009 (UTC)

Trivia

I deleted the Trivia section, because it contained only two facts, both about the songs that have their own articles. These fact belong to the articles on the songs, and not to this article. Vanjagenije (talk) 16:38, 17 June 2009 (UTC)

Release dates

The articles only says the release date of albums Pass It Around and Changing All the Time, and that's in a section, NOT in the setlists of all songs. I want to know the release dates of ALL of'em. Cleanup

Major need of cleanup, which I have attempted in part. The discography was dire (and still is poor), I would think a singles discography would be appropriate too. Citations are needed for the article in every section. The albums link back to this page (apart from one) - I could go on, but I fail to see how this could be rated a 'B class article'.--Tuzapicabit (talk) 23:45, 19 December 2009 (UTC)

Can someone revive the article???

Hi, this is The Wikimon and I'm a big fan of the band... I'm also new to Wikipedia and I'm not too good at raising the standards of articles, so I was hoping someone could add some really good references, cause the ones as of now don't work correctly. Also I've taken the liberty to increase the lead, so could someone remove the tag at the beginning. And is it alright if I start correcting all grammatical errors, or would someone feel better off if they did it???Thanks once a lot... Good luck on sorting out the article. Your biggest problem will be finding references I would imagine. The lead you have extended needs a bit of work on styling and wording. Songs are listed like "this" and albums are listed like this. Check out other music articles to get some ideas. Also remember that "greatest hit" and "claim to fame" are your own opinion and not allowed, so you would need to be clear here. If this is their biggest hit (and I'm not sure it is) then maybe something like "they are perhaps best known for..." or just list a few of their biggest hits (which you have done) and leave it at that.
