Does anyone have any information on the riot mentioned here?

UK edit

Does anyone in the UK know if they still sell this in newsagents, corner shops and the like? I remember that they used to when I was a kid, but perhaps this has changed, so I don't want to add it to the article without checking. Fourohfour 12:21, 15 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Flavor Mixes edit

We shouldn't go through naming the different mixes of flavors you can make because there are so many. My friends and I have come up with a name for almost every combo, but they are by no means offical or even commonly used. "ghost" and "suicide" are probaly the only ones that are universal names. Actually, I'd like a citation for those too... Fourohfour 11:43, 29 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Remove Un-needed Code edit

Removed a portion that said Insert Text, or something... not relevant to the article.

No need to justify trivial stuff like that, it's probably a typo or incorrect cut-and-paste, or... whatever! Fourohfour 17:44, 2 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Slush Puppie and Slurpee. edit

Edited entry to note that while Slush Puppie and Slurpee are used often used as synonymous terms they are in fact two separate products. It previously stated that they were synonymous. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.23.152.18 (talk) 02:05, 30 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Spelling edit

I removed the following text from the article:

The unique spelling of "puppie," which represents a floppy eared dog, was added to bring attention to both the name and the product.<ref name=independent/><ref>[http://www.enquirer.com/editions/1998/01/18/bus_slush18.html "Frozen in time: Slush Puppie still hot after 27 years], ''[[Cincinnati Enquirer]]'', January 18, 1998.</ref>

In the first place, it makes no sense to say that the spelling represents a dog; it's the term that does, and it need not be floppy-eared. Second, and most importantly, none of the sources linked mention the spelling (which in any case is not unique, just anachronistic; the OED cites a number of sources using it). 161.73.82.133 (talk) 08:38, 23 October 2014 (UTC)Reply
