Notability of Slowbeef edit

Per WP:ENT and WP:WEB, Slowbeef is notable for pioneering the Let's Play video format. His contributions to the genre, alongside other Something Awful personalities like "Proton Jon," "Deceased Crab," "Psychedelic Snake" and his Retsupurae colleague "Diabetus" have had a massive impact on both gaming and the Internet as a whole. It made stars of YouTubers like "Chuggaaconroy," "SeaNanners," "TotalBiscuit," "TheRadBrad," "Game Grumps" and especially "PewDiePie" - all of whom owe their popularity to Slowbeef. In this regard, he's essentially one of the most influential internet personalities, arguably up there with the likes of the Angry Video Game Nerd. Granted, this isn't promotional in the slightest - various publications, books, scholarly articles and dissertations have mentioned him as a pioneer of the genre, such as Kotaku, The Washington Post, Game Informer and so on. Pairing his influence to gaming content with his other endeavors, such as his Retsupurae channel, his contributions to a Policenauts fan translation, and his Polygon articles, there's enough notability for him to merit his own Wikipedia page. At worst, this may be a case of "BLP one-event." But seeing as how that one event has led him to be significantly covered in so many sources, and this event in particular is him pioneering an entire genre (which can't be said for a lot of people), I think this justifies him having his own article.

Several of the sources here are from news websites like The Washington Post, gaming outlets like Kotaku and Game Informer, and other books and scholarly journals. For the Game Informer source I couldn't find a link to the actual magazine issue on their official website, so I had to retrieve a PDF link online for it. I hope that's okay. Finally, there are other sources that exist such as a plethora of books and scholarly articles, but for now I think these sources in the article are enough to establish significant coverage and notability. Anyway, if any issues arise with the article, may you please reply to this talk page first before evaluating? I would appreciate it.
