I know what it means. The word is rarely used at all in modern English and even more rarely in that context. There is no need to replace common and adequate terms with uncommon or anachronistic. If you have an alternative form that is clearer than it is at present, suggest it. NicM 21:03, 14 December 2005 (UTC).Reply
