Talk:Slavic name suffixes

No translations edit

So all these suffixes(?) are list, but for many of these suffixes there is no translation

My google search lead to this Wiki but it doesn't help me with my genealogy research! 74.95.126.251 (talk) 04:16, 20 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

This would be much better as a table edit

A table format would be better, and it would be good to see meanings and examples of all endings.

Another suffix to add? edit

would '-tsev' be considered a suffix? From my understanding as a Russian speaker, -tsev would indicate that the carrier of the name is the son of someone from the named area. So, for example, someone with the surname Mogilevtsev would be "the son of someone from Mogilev", or son of a Mogilevets?MSTVD (talk) 04:49, 10 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
