moved the other stuff to Slasher (short film)

Redirect to film genre edit

This redirect has some edit history into it. I found 20 links in "what links here" meant for the film sub-genre and fixed them all. Also 2-3 were meant for a music band, which I also fixed. But none were meant for the agricultural machine. So althought it may be perfectly correct to say that a "slasher" is a mower, it is even more correct to consider that more users may link "slasher" to the film sub-genre in the future. That's the purpose of redirects mainly and not terminological precision. I redirect to Slash films and would appreciate if it is left there. Hoverfish Talk 19:20, 10 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation edit

I have turned this page into a disambiguation. Considering there are a handful of articles with "Slasher" as the title or predominately in the title it's necessary. I myself was looking for information about the 2004 documentary and found it very difficult to find (I ended up having to navigate through the director's page which shouldn't have been necessary). I see there has been a sorted history for this page but I find this is the best solution. Especially since not only is a disambiguation page needed to wrangle these articles, but non of those articles themselves were on this page. Danleary25 (talk) 08:48, 27 February 2009 (UTC) Also I have already gone through and fixed every link to here which was meant for slasher film. There were none I found misleading on another "slasher" subject, except a handful that were actually discussing this redirect/disambiguation page. Danleary25 (talk) 09:05, 27 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
