Image:Simpsons Sears.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Simpsons in the media

I find the repeated removal of the section on Simpsons in the media objectionable and the claim that it is off-topic spurious. Andy Mabbett (User:Pigsonthewing); Andy's talk; Andy's edits 19:47, 19 October 2008 (UTC)

The passages in question have very little to do with Simpsons itself. They have more to do with the works in question and less to do with Simpsons. I'm not saying that the material should be removed so much as it should be located on those other articles, if the other articles will have the material. SchuminWeb (Talk) 23:53, 19 October 2008 (UTC)
