Untitled edit

I have deleted the following:

"*The codename of an alleged Special Branch undercover agent in the National Union of Mineworkers during the 1984-1985 miners strike in the UK." I have done this for two reasons.

One is that it has never been suggested that the individual miner who orchestrated strikebreaking during the UK 1984-86 miners strike was a state agent.

Two is that the famous code name of the individual was "Silver Birch" not "Silver Fox".

Anderson Cooper? edit

Is "Silver Fox" an actual nickname for Anderson Cooper, aside from that given by his fans? 207.237.41.202 (talk) 23:35, 24 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

The nickname has been given to him by colleagues as well as the media: Anderson Cooper: The Silver Fox --77.251.185.206 (talk) 04:06, 1 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Irwin Ziders edit

I have removed Irwin Ziders from the individuals list after noting the suspicious wording "the silverest of fox's". Quick web search for "Irwin Ziders" only turns up links and references back to this dis ambiguous page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 110.33.211.200 (talk) 13:42, 10 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Individuals edit

I have hidden (rather than deleted) this section, as I don't really think it's very encyclopedic. Some of them may well be original research or even jokes, and as the phrase itself could be potentially offensive, it seems best to at least hide them. Bob talk 17:03, 10 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

add Hwang Jang Lee edit

I think that someone should add something referring to the series of movies made in Hong Kong and starring Hwang Jang Lee in the role of 'Silver Fox'. On the page about Hwang Jang Lee, it is mentioned that the nickname Silver Fox was also used to refer to him, and the words 'Silver Fox' link to his disambiguation page, though there is nothing here on either him, or the films in question! What has happened? edit

This is a disambiguation page, but the original disambiguation page is a redirection to this? 90.227.53.176 (talk) 21:46, 18 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

I expect it was moved at some point. Bob talk 23:17, 18 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
