Talk:Silver Slipper Casino (Waveland)

Location edit

-Casino is Located closest to the City of Waveland in Hancock county MS not Biloxi which is over a 45 minute drive East of the Casino in a different County of Harrison.

  • Should it be Bay St. Louis, Mississippi which is the mailing address? Vegaswikian 05:04, 19 November 2006 (UTC)Reply
    • Good point on BSL. I do not know the answer on this one. Although Waveland is closer. Bay Saint Louis is the closest City of any size or History.
      • I think I'll change it to Bay St. Louis, Mississippi then since that is what they use on the web site. BTW, sign your comments on the talk page by using ~~~~ after your comment. Also notice how I changed the indent on your reply. This is also a standard that should be followed. Vegaswikian 03:56, 21 November 2006 (UTC)Reply
        • It should be Lakeshore, Mississippi as the official mailing address is 5000 South Beach Blvd. Lakeshore, MS 39558. I have changed it to Waveland, MS since most patrons consider it in Waveland - the same as the former Bayou Caddy Jubliee Casino that was there before. Arenafoot 23:12, 10 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
          • It apparently should be Lakeshore, Mississippi, since the web site was updated, as you you point out and not Waveland. Anyone know why there is no article for that place yet? Locations should be the actual locality name and not where people think it is in an article, right? Vegaswikian 00:02, 11 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:SilverSlipperCasinoMS-logo.png edit

Image:SilverSlipperCasinoMS-logo.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
