Comparison edit

The song has been both criticized and praised for sounding much like Pink Floyd's music, in particular their song Comfortably Numb.

I find pretty weird that an heavily orchestrated acoustic song -which doesn't even have a guitar solo- being criticized for sounding like Comfortably Numb; in the end, it seems like any smooth low vice would sound like Roger Waters on Comfortably Numb... the guy should copyright the technique! :D

But seriously, I find the comparison stupid, to say the least.

ha, I mean, come on, the song is not even in 4/4 bar! --190.19.86.37 (talk) 20:57, 20 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

The problem is money. Being a band isn't easy and when a band finds their unique sound they want to keep it. Pink Floyd sues Queensryche and AC/DC sues Rhino Bucket. Filthy Lucre. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.179.30.13 (talk) 22:12, 11 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

It sounds more like Mother (Pink Floyd song) imo, and The Show Must Go On (Pink Floyd song). Aurora sword (talk) 06:51, 12 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Silent Lucidity Singer edit

So yeah I am going to assume it was Geoff Tate, since the short verbiage does not say so directly — Preceding unsigned comment added by 137.118.161.59 (talk) 22:03, 16 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

Adding the genre "glam metal" to this song edit

Hi,

just wanted to know if I could add the genre "glam metal" to this song?

Stated to be such in a article already cited on this page.
