Disambiguation Needed -- Sierra Club searches often lead to highly rated Sierra Club Foundation edit

There should be disambiguation between the Sierra Club and the Sierra Club Foundation. Charity Navigator does not rate the Sierra Club because of non-disclosure. Sierra Club Foundation has high ratings, however, Sierra Club accepts the most donations. I'm not sure exactly what your question is. We currently have two pages, the Sierra Club and the Sierra Club Foundation about two legally separate but related organizations. Are you suggesting we merge the two pages into one? Thanks. Safehaven86 (talk) 20:53, 12 June 2015 (UTC)Reply
This was not a question. Wikipedia's disclaimer should include some of the basic differences between the two organizations, transparency and assets. 73.12.149.250 (talk) 00:41, 5 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

It would be even worse to merge the pages. This would facilitate the public's confusion of Sierra Club actions, with Sierra Club Foundation ratings by independent watchdog groups. 98.255.16.21 (talk) 03:17, 14 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

Ok, so is there an action item here? Thanks. Safehaven86 (talk) 20:02, 14 June 2015 (UTC)Reply
Merging was not suggested, only clarification. 73.12.149.250 (talk) 00:46, 5 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
What sort of clarification? There is already a {{distinguish}} template at the top of the article. The only thing more that would be done would be an {{about}} template, such as this:
Is that the sort of improvement you're thinking? —C.Fred (talk) 00:49, 5 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
That looks like an improvement to me. BBQboffingrill me 05:50, 5 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Founded by John Muir?? edit

The article says the Foundation was founded in 1960, and was founded by John Muir. But Muir died in 1914.

Maybe you mean David Brower? Vaughan Pratt (talk) 01:19, 27 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
