I am a South African citizen living in Australia and would like to discover my ancestry. I noticed on the internet that there is a Sparkham Close in your shire. My surname is Sparkham and I would like to know if anybody can assist me to gather information about my ancestry. How come there is a Sparkham Close in the Shire of Shrewsbury and how did it start.

Hello, do you think Anne Chebsey is worth writing an article? I'm wondering if I will write an article on Czech Wikipedia, but I don't want to do it without an English article (an article about British mayor would be strange on Czech Wikipedia, if it wouldn't be on the English one). No, she is not notable. The Mayor is only a purely ceremonial post, held by a councillor for one year on a non-political basis. Cllr Chebsey herself is not any more notable than previous Mayors of Shrewsbury and Atcham, other than she will be the last one! David (talk) 21:06, 22 February 2009 (UTC)
