Here's To Life - Laserdisc edit

I have converted and added this laserdisc to youtube with approved content copyright checks. I propose to add an entry prio to the DVD, changing the title simply to Video.

Would it be appropriate to add a brief paragraph to the biography section starting "Horn worked with the same rhythm section for 25 years: Charles Ables" since the album of the same name was discussed in the para' before and it seems like a good place to put it chronologically. I'll add these two external references.

Need help adding page for Horn's 1987 'All of Me' studio album edit

I've created a draft page for the Japanese-market 'All of Me' album recorded for Sony. I don't have enough Wikipedia editing cred to publish the page myself. If someone would like to copy that draft into a published page, it would strengthen the general Horn Wikipedia discography. 'All of Me' is, like 'Softly', a beautifully performed and recorded album that surpasses some of her much better distributed Verve work. Content is here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:All_of_Me_(Shirley_Horn_album)

Expansion Plans edit

My suggestion to expand is to have sections on

  • Early Career
  • Career with Verve Records
  • Discography

Grammy? edit

Horn was nominated for nine Grammy Awards during her career winning a Grammy Award in the Grammy Awards of 1999 for Grammy Award for Best Jazz Vocal Album for I Remember Miles.

We definitely need the word Grammy in here about eight more times. -- eo 19:28, 24 October 2005 (UTC)Reply
