Shing (disambiguation) → Shing – The base title Shing was formerly occupied by an article about a fictional species; following an AFD in August, the base title now redirects to Hainish Cycle. However, based on pageviews [1], the fictional species does not appear to be WP:PRIMARYREDIRECT over the other topics by this name - the disambiguation page itself gets as many views as the base title. For WP:ATTREQ purposes, the edit history currently at Shing may also need to be displaced to somewhere else (e.g. Shing (Hainish Cycle)). 59.149.124.29 (talk) 07:38, 30 November 2019 (UTC)

- Weak support views [[2]] for when it was an article do show more views but I don't think we can consider a topic that isn't notable enough to have an article (as opposed to an article merged due to a significant overlap) as the primary topic. Also the place is arguably primary by PT#2. Also agree with moving the edit history as proposed and also include the new title on the DAB rather than bypassing the redirect. - Oppose Shing (surname) should be moved there instead as the primary topic. The place in Tajikistan gets almost no views. Leave the disambig page there as the other entries on it are shaky at best.
