Conchatys= ? edit

Doing some Google searching, I suspect that the Conchatys mentioned in the novel are what is now known as the Coushatta; accordingly, I linked to that entry. But can someone with more familiarity with this topic verify that the equation is correct?

Sections to Delete or Substantially Trim edit

As it stands right now, a number of sections are long and list-like and feature a level of detail beyond what is called for in an encyclopedic space. In particular, I suggest that the Major Themes section could be deleted or substantially pared down.
