Poorna → Shamna Kasim – This is the here name and popular name. She is known by this name in Malayalam industry and also officially.Poorna refers to many other actresses and also many other subjects, but Shamna Kasim is unique name. Her official Facebook page also uses Shamna Kasim.

- Support - there's not much in it, particularly when Malayalam wp has title Poorna പൂര്ണ then lede Poorna real name Shamna Kasim ഷംന കാസിം and likewise for Tamil (Poorna பூர்ண) and Marathi (Poorna पूर्णा ), so on the face of it this isn't a good case. But on the other hand taking out some confusion in the GNews hits with the Tunisia-born Indian actress Poorna Jagannathan http://articles.timesofindia.indiatimes.com/2012-04-23/news-interviews/31386697_1_indian-actors-indian-girl-cinema then hits for Poorna/Shamna Kasim seems about equal, and Poorna is evidently ambiguous. I support move but nominator perhaps should create a disambiguation page at Poorna after move which distinguishes both Poornas. In ictu oculi (talk) 11:21, 28 April 2012 (UTC)

Move page to Poorna edit
I recommend changing the name from Shamna Kasim to Poorna. While she is known as Shamna Kasim in Malayalam Film industry, she is known as Poorna in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada industries. She has more films from those industries than the Malayalam industry.
