As per rules, I'm moving the following quote to the talk until the accurate quote from the indicated source is provided. I was unable to find this quote in the source mentioned:

Which rules would that be? I only found rules about removing unsourced material. In any case here is the quote

It is however supposed to contain near 60,000 inhabitants chiefly Armenians and strangers, whom the pleasantness of the country and traffic have invited thither.
