Date of birth and death edit
His date of birth has also not been confirmed. Many sources list it as 10 September 1900. It would make sense that one is Old Calendar date and the other New Calendar date but the math doesn't add up – from March 1900 the difference was already 13 days, meaning that if 29 August is the correct OS date, the NS date should be 11 September, and if 10 September is the correct NS date, the OS date should be 28 August. There's probably no easy way to solve this, so I just leave the comment here. -- Toomas (talk) 14:26, 4 May 2020 (UTC)
There was also confusion over his date of death, most sources listing it as 26 October 1976. However, I just discovered a blog with a photo of his grave and this confirms the less mentioned date, 30 December 1976. As this is a valuable resource – revealing the date of his passing, the name of the cemetery where he is buried, and the name of his daughter – I have used the blog thrice among the references. -- Toomas (talk) 16:33, 4 May 2020 (UTC)
