Undue attention to extracurricular activities edit

The various sections added on music and dance in early 2010 are still unsourced, promotional, and contain far to much attention to detail. I have removed the link spam, but the sections need to be reduced to a maximum of a couple of sentences by someone knowledgeable about the subject. What's left should be sourced. --Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 20:49, 29 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Agree entirely. I think the entire Extracurricular section needs attention, but I've started with a suggested revision to the Dance section in my sandbox: User:Habitage/RevisiontoSeminoleHS#Dance. I added citations and removed unnecessary information. What do you think? --Habitage (talk) 21:02, 14 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

List of universities edit

This looks promotional. Is it really necessary to list almost all the colleges in the US? --Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 07:59, 13 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Promotional edit

This article still reads extremely promotional. The WP:PUFFERY needs to be cut out, and a lot of the non essential information removed. --Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 16:00, 20 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

I see the puffery and promotion is creeping back in.--Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 01:46, 23 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

History edit

I updated the history section to reflect the current state. The building on 7th street was used only for field trips for the school system. It was close to shutting due to budget cuts. A partnership was struck between UCF and the county in 2012 for UCF to run that building as a museum. It is now open to the general public, in addition to its role in field trip tours, and students from UCF's History program are able to intern there for experience in Public History and museum operations. It is no longer the Student Museum, it is the UCF Public History Center. Possible links to other articles?

Pruned edit

This articled has now been cleaned up by the WP:WPSCH to remove all the promotional and unsourced bloat and puff. Enough warnings were given. An encyclopedic article for a school is one thing, but a sprawling vanity piece is another. --Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 13:14, 18 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

It is vastly improved! Jacona (talk) 18:58, 18 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

Graduates edit

I was just curious as to why it is talking about only the female graduates in the History section. I understand that in 1907, there were only 4 female graduates, because there were only four students at the school. But I changed it so it lists the whole number of graduates in 2017, so it is up to date. -- Danny (talk) 10:21, 12 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
