Correction edit

Sejeong city is not to replace Seoul as capital, but to serve as a secondary city with major administrative functions. The seat of government and the home of the president will remain in Seoul. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 61.253.87.141 (talk) 06:12, 16 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

lcation edit

Our article says it will be near Daejeon. The KT article of Sept.26/27 puts it "under construction in an area between Yeongi County and Gongju city...."Kdammers (talk) 02:50, 27 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Location edit

The location shown in the map is not very exact. I think the coordinates are (36.511313, 127.309556). They can be entered like this in google maps. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.188.99.208 (talk) 15:07, 11 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Map edit

The label on the map says the location of the city is highlighted. I cannot see any highlighting on the map! Kdammers (talk) 02:33, 6 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Capital? edit

The article begins one sentence with "The capital...," referring to Sejong. This is not explained. Is this a correct designation? I doubt it, but if correct, we need a reference for the official transfer from Seoul.Kdammers (talk) 02:40, 6 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Move of government agencies edit

As the article refers to a move by 2015 can it be updated to reflect the (2016) present? Jackiespeel (talk) 15:52, 26 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

About the year Sejong was founded edit

There’s no citation for the country being founded in 2007? And every source I’ve looked at says it was founded in 2012? 2601:246:4A80:52A0:C900:63FF:8258:1FAC (talk) 22:07, 18 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

Merge proposal edit

I propose merging Yeongi County into Sejong City. Yeongi County was incorporated into Sejong in 2012, and makes up most of Sejong. It also doesn't have much content and I doubt it will be expanded. 三葉草 San Ye Cao 23:47, 1 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
