Trivia

Cleaning up

The page includes a paragraph at the end about differences with the book, as well as a trivia section accomplishing almost the same thing. One or the other (probably the trivia section) should be removed. The differences should also be given more concisely. Gordon CSA (talk) 01:07, 8 April 2008 (UTC)

Similarities to other films

I watched this movie last night, and noticed the plot in some ways is the same as De Niro's Hide and Seek. I'm thinking specifically of the protagonist-is-the-villain trope. another movie/book this one is similar to is The Shining, anyone else see the obvious similarities? mr king has run outta ideas, so he takes his dream of going crazy and killing his wife and writes two books about it.... sad/scary really... When mort realised that shooter is only an illusion created by him and that they're the same person I noticed that's it's the same thing in the 1999 film (fight club) brad pitt and edward norton are the same person in the film Blowgirl (talk) 22:38, 16 June 2015 (UTC)

• I don#t know why somebody critizises "Amy is hot", may be she should be icecream or what is the modest attitude behind that?

To the figure Jonny Depp played, she is more than hot, she is the oven and he is the nitro.It's a question of perspectives being narrated and like it is done; POV seems to me o.k. Because it's difficult to seperate the bordering tensefull frames in King,s fiction.From beginning nobody knows about the double fiction character in,the figures appear on the same fictional level and seem to be real.Lateron the reciepent recognizes that the writer suffers under schizophrenie and acts destrutiv on his divorce from Amy real in ficion. No similarities!

• I don#t think Depp is playing "Hank is back"! For his acting career it's a new variation and a psychologic one.

Most of the times he is visible as an acting pirate, a lover and singer or in the name of action acting. Now he developes a double character and a reasonable one. Another form of concentration is nessessary to create such a profile and he does it well. The comparison leads in a wrong direction!--Danaide (talk) 10:11, 12 March 2009 (UTC)
