Fluency in German edit

I just saw an interview with Wood on German news, and his language skills were remarkable: Very good pronunciation and, most astonishing of all, no grammar mistakes at all. This was quite surprising for someone who has only lived in Germany for a bit more than a year (especially working daily in an English-speaking organization). Where do his language skills come from? German is usually not a language you want to learn if you don't have to. --Tim Landscheidt (talk) 00:37, 4 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

There's an article about Wood's German-speaking skills here: More and More Ambassadors Speak Fluent German. --Canley (talk) 05:24, 4 February 2017 (UTC)Reply
Thanks. That sounds like it was a lot of effort, but the results are – to repeat myself – remarkable. --Tim Landscheidt (talk) 06:37, 4 February 2017 (UTC)Reply
